The agency ably led by the Executive Secretary/CEO, Dr Uche Ewelike, has commenced a 2-day Life saving skills training for implementing PHC OICs and Secondary Facilities from the 305 wards of the State.

The training which is in tandem with the Health insurance policy of His Excellency, Dis. Sen. Hope Uzodimma in ensuring that Ndi-Imo receives quality healthcare services, was anchored by consultant Gynaecologists, Obstetricians and Paediatrics.

Topics discussed includes but not limited to “Understanding uneventful deliveries in rural settings, Identifying high risk pregnancies and deliveries, referrals for pregnant women, and Managing paediatric emergencies in the rural settings.
