The Imo State Health Insurance Agency on Tuesday 25th day of March 2025, kicked off the enrollment process for Governor Hope Uzodimma’s health insurance program, targeting pensioners across the 27 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Imo State. This initiative aims to provide affordable healthcare services to verified pensioners, alleviating their financial burdens when accessing medical care.
The enrollment process is a significant step towards realizing Governor Uzodimma’s vision of ensuring that all residents of Imo State have access to quality healthcare services.The Imo State Health Insurance Agency, led by the Executive Secretary/CEO Dr. Uchenna Ewelike, who is actively participating in the enrollment process, has been instrumental in implementing this program, which includes a range of health insurance plans covering various medical services.
This initiative demonstrates Governor Uzodimma’s commitment to improving the lives of Imo State residents, particularly vulnerable populations like pensioners.
