It was all joy for the family of Mr and Mrs Onyebuibe as they went home without paying 1 kobo after a successful delivery at the Area M Health Center in Owerri Municipal.
The couple who did not hesitate to express their excitement in benefiting from the Health Insurance Policy of His Excellency Dis. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, thanked the Governor for ensuring the BHCPF programme was active and implementing in the State.
The Husband while speaking said in quote “I just came to get the bills, to know how much i’m owing and how much I’m going to pay. I don’t know, I’m just speechless. I will ever remain grateful and thankful to the Governor.”
It is worthy to note that the Imo State Health Insurance Agency ably led by the Executive Secretary/CEO, Dr Uche Ewelike, is currently enrolling over 18,000 Imolites into the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF) programme as a continuous bid to ensure that out-of-pocket expenditure of Ndi-Imo is reduced when accessing health care services, as directed by His Excellency.
HOPE is alive in Imo State.
