With the successful enrollment of 66,003 vulnerable persons by the Imo State Health Insurance Agency into the Scheme, who are currently receiving free access to care across 305 wards in the state, the agency has commenced the distribution of beneficiaries ID cards in all 27 LGAs of the State.

While these ID cards serves as a prompt means of identification for the beneficiaries at the place of receiving care, this is in line with the political will of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma towards the Health sector in the state to ensure that Imolites access quality healthcare services.

The agency’s representatives while distributing the ID cards were received by the office of the SOLADs, the OICs of the local government’s PHCs and other dignitaries of the LGA.

The SOLADs while receiving the ID cards, expressed profound gratitude to the Governor Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma for ensuring the Health Insurance Scheme is active in the State and thereby pledged their unwavering support towards ensuring that more Lives (vulnerable) are captured under the scheme in their LGAs.

On the same vein, the Imo State Health Insurance Agency ably Led by the Executive Secretary Dr Uche Ewelike, were thanked by the LGA SOLADs for showing capacity and dedication in ensuring the political will of His Excellency is being achieved through the Health Insurance Scheme.
