Today, May 27th, 2025, the Executive Secretary of the Imo State Health Insurance Agency (IMSHIA), *Dr. Uchenna Ewelike*, welcomed a delegation from Nutrition International, FHI-360, Results for Development (R4D), and UNICEF at the Agency’s Head Office in Owerri.
The delegation, led by the former CEO of IMSHIA, *Dr. John Onyekoro*, engaged in strategic discussions aimed at fostering partnerships to enhance Mother and Child Healthcare in Imo State. The meeting focused on leveraging the existing health insurance framework to provide sustainable access to essential nutritional services and interventions for vulnerable populations in the rural communities.
