The Imo State Health Insurance Agency (IMSHIA) on Monday 28th July 2025 received a high-profile visit from the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Imo State, Barr. Chief Nnamdi Anyaehie.
During the visit, the Chief of Staff commended the Executive Secretary and CEO of IMSHIA, Dr. Uchenna Ewelike for the effectiveness of the health insurance implementation for Imo residents in line with Governor vision.
Chief Barr. Anyaehie expressed satisfaction with the agency’s efforts in expanding healthcare access across the state, especially to vulnerable and informal sector populations. He acknowledged Dr. Ewelike’s commitment and dedication to achieving the Governor’s vision of universal health coverage for all Imo residents.
Dr. Ewelike, in his response, appreciated the visit and reiterated the Agency’s dedication to expanding health coverage and ensuring quality healthcare delivery across the state.
